True and smooth grand piano level key action is reproduced using the actual weight of the hammer, without relying at all on springs. In the quest to find a piano that sounded good and one that my wife would welcome in the lounge I came across the PX-830. It was a bit of a surprise to find that when it was delivered (within a week of ordering) that it was self assembly... however, the instructions were clear and despite one minor incorrect procedure it was together in under half an hour and was being played.Value Sound Ease of use / Action Build Quality
WOW! what a sound... it surpassed all the other brands I had looked at, including those in the big London stores.
I almost found myself searching for the piano strings... the sampled grand pianos are so realistic and with the weighted keys it would be easy to imagine it was the real thing. All the other sounds are exceptional... so I can fully recommend the PX-830... terrific instrument at a good price, even paying for the polished black which is an absolute stunner.
