WMC consider the protection of all personal information we receive from our Web Site visitors, Subscribers, and customers as a core responsibility. We have security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of Personal Information.

Westside Music Centres and wmcmusic.co.uk are PCI DSS secure. A recent initiative between MasterCard and Visa to heighten the security when handling card details has meant that all retailers using an Internet connection to process credit or debit card transactions must meet a required security level. We are security scanned quarterly, have best practise procedures in place and are tested to the highest security standards.
Secure Socket Layer
To protect all of our private data exchanges on the website we use a Secure Socket Layer, or SSL as they are known to encrypt the data (you may have seen the padlock that most web users are now used to seeing in their browser). Our SSL is provided by GeoTrust, a recognised market leader in online security. These SSL certificates offer up to 256-bit encryption offering you the safest online experience we can provide.
